Australian made 2000W professional dual 18-inch passive bass system designed for professional sound reinforcement applications in the frequency range 30Hz to 300Hz where high sound pressure levels are required. The AS18B3 is a front-loaded vented system. This system employs our custom Australian made Lorantz AC465Y-B3 driver specifically designed for AS18B3 System. The cabinet is made from selected 18mm plywood and finished in black Duratex. The loudspeakers are protected with a heavy-duty black power coated steel mesh backed with filter foam. We recommend each system be driven by a power amplifier capable of delivering up to 1000 watts into 8 ohms. To avoid loudspeaker mechanical damage from over excursion we recommend this system is electronically high-passed at 35Hz as recommended. At conception this system was fitted with our Lorantz AC465Y-B3-8 loudspeaker. Now the system is compatible with our Lorantz AC470Y-B3-8 or AC470Y-B5-8 higher power models.
