Australian made professional passive 18 inch bass system designed for sound reinforcement applications in the frequency range 34Hz to 300Hz where high sound pressure levels are required. The AS18B53 is a front-loaded vented system. This system employs our custom Australian made Lorantz AS18YB5s driver specifically designed for AS18B5s system. We recommend each system be driven by a power amplifier capable of delivering up to 2000 watts into 8 ohms providing the average RMS program power does not exceed 1000 watt and the system is high-passed as recommended.

The cabinet is constructed from selected 18mm Birch plywood. The cabinet is fitted with steel bar handles and rubber feet. The system is delivered with internal acoustic treatment for resonance free bass output. The cabinet is finished in black DuraTex resin finish. The loudspeakers are protected with a 1.5mm thick heavy-duty black powder-coated perforated steel front grille.
