Australian made professional 15 inch bass system designed for sound reinforcement applications in the frequency range 34Hz to 300Hz where high sound pressure levels are required. The AS15V is a front-loaded vented system. This system employs our high performance Australian made Lorantz AC386V-B2s driver specifically designed for the AS15V system. We recommend each system be driven by a power amplifier capable of delivering up to 800 watts into 8 ohms providing the average RMS program power does not exceed 400 watt and the system is high-passed as recommended.

The cabinet is constructed from selected 18mm Radiata pine plywood. This material was selected due to its light weight, heavier Birch ply is optional. The cabinet is fitted with four pocket handles and protective plastic corners. For operation below 200 Hz the system is delivered with no internal acoustic treatment for maximum bass output. For operation above 200 Hz internal acoustic treatment is recommended. The cabinet is finished in black DuraTex resin finish. The loudspeakers are protected with a 1.5mm thick heavy-duty black powder-coated perforated steel front grille.
